Don Geyer grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, enjoying spectacular Mt. Rainier, the rugged North Cascades and picturesque Olympic mountains as his playground. He is an avid hiker, climber and general outdoor enthusiast.

In 1999, Don founded Mountain Scenes Photography to promote his photography.  His work has since appeared in books, calendars and magazines, including his book Mount Rainier from Hancock House Publishing (order signed copy here).

Don is constantly taking trips into the backcountry.  Many times climbing, sometimes simply backpacking or hiking.  If you are out in the Cascades or Olympic Mountains, you stand a good chance of running into him.

Don currently resides in Renton, WA - within a couple of hours of Mt. Rainier National Park, Mt. St. Helens National Monument, Olympic National Park, and North Cascades National Park.  It is this proximity to the mountains of the Pacific Northwest that makes Don an easy choice for assignments, or even simple photo requests.  Don't see what you are looking for in the Mountain Scenes Photography  gallery?  Drop us a line - he can get it!

Feel free to E-mail Don at dongeyer@mountainscenes.com.
